Wow...I've been so busy last week and this week! Well, I told ya'll that I took my girls to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN. We had the best day :) We shopped, ate at TGIFriday's, shopped somemore...lol!!
I've also been cleaning my house. Not just cleaning, but deep cleaning. I've managed to rearrange just about everything. I'm sorry that I havent stopped long enough to blog...I just had to get it done...and it still isnt all done LOL!! I miss you guys though :) I'm about to stop this post so I can go checkout my favorite blogs! Thanks for being patient with me ;) *hugs to you all*

Just a quick note to say hello to everyone :) I've been pretty busy today. Laundry, blah blah blah, you know how it goes.
Here's the thing, I want to kick my blog up a notch (read title: I wanna be like Emeril!). I'm not sure how to go about it, but I know that I'd like to see more comments. A friend of ours has some beautiful English Bull Dog puppies. My hubby and the girls are dying to get one, but me, not so much. It's not that I dont like dogs, because I do. It's just that we live sooooo close to a main road and while my girls know better than to go near it, would a puppy? We're not allowed to have indoor pets in the house that we rent, but outdoor pets are acceptable. I cannot see leaving a poor puppy outside! I also have mixed opinions on bull dogs. I have heard some people say that they will turn on you very easily and I've heard other people say that they are wonderful animals. So, do any of you have an opinion? I'd love to hear it!

In other news...the snow we had yesterday is already melted. It's President's Day, so there isnt any school today. I have to go run some errands, but it's not so much fun taking the girls on errands LOL I absolutely love taking them to the grocery store with me (note the sarcasm!) so they can ask for everything they see LOL!! Well, I hope you are all enjoying your day :)

I was going to post a few more pics of the snow falling last night and the girls playing in the snow today but blogger is being a butt! This picture was taken friday afternoon at the park. Shelby was so sweet, pushing Shaleena on the swing :) We couldnt stay at the park for too long, it was really cold, and that playground is like 25 ft. from the lake, which made it even colder! I hope you are all staying nice and toasty warm today :) And for those of you that are in warmer climates (read: Kailani!!) , you are very lucky LOL!! *hugs to you all*

We took the girls to see Bridge to Tarabithia last night! It was wonderful, they stayed captivated throughout the entire movie. They're already after me this morning to take them to see it again. It's funny, sad and a little bit serious all wrapped up into one movie. I have to warn you though, there is some bullying, slight use of foul language and very very vivid imaginations!

In other news, I was going to try to participate in Saturday Photo Hunt today but I'm babysitting and I dont want to try to take out four little ones to try to find a good picture LOL The theme is "Antique" , I guess I could take a picture of hubby, afterall, he is 37...LOL JK ya'll!! Please dont anyone take any offense to that, it's just that I always tease him because he's 12 years older than me LOL

I've been downloading some classic rock on LimeWire. I downloaded Def Leppard's "Blue Jean Baby Queen" and Blackfoot's "Oh Black Betty" and you should see my girls singing those songs LOL As soon as they come on, the girls start hootin' and hollerin' and singing!!! I love it!

I recieved a note from the school yesterday. I cannot stress this enough people, I want you to check your pantry's for Peter Pan Peanut Butter and Great Value Peanut Butter (walmart brand). If the code on the lid of the jar (or wherever it may be located) begins with the number 2111, get rid of it immediately! There have been jars put in stores all over the US but mainly in Georgia that are contaminated with Salmonella. So, any jars of these types of peanut butter that you have purchased since May of 2006 need to be discarded. Since I love all you folks and consider you my friends, I thought I'd share this with you...although some of you may have already heard.

Well, twice now I've tried to publish my Thursday 13, and twice now it's been lost somewhere. I'll try again later. Maybe. Is anyone else having any problems posting?

This morning, I put the girls in the car to take them to school and I realized that my feet were awfully toasty and warm. I looked down and realized I still had my slippers on...LOL! I ran back in the house and got on my shoes. When I returned to the car, Shaleena was telling Shelby that she let "him" out of his cage and she needed to go put him back in. I turned around and asked her who was out of what cage? I was kind of freaking out because we DONT have any animals, let alone any in a cage LOL She looked at me, sweet as pie, and said, "Daddy." I dont know where she got that but I called him and told him to get back in his cage LOL!!

Man, talk about a hectic Sunday! We had everyone over for a cook-out yesterday. The bad thing is, no one left until pretty late. This resulted in two things; since I've not been working, I've been used to going to bed at a decent hour, but last night, since it was late when everyone left, I still had to get the girls to bed (2 hours later than they're used to), clean up, and wash some laundry, so it was way late when I went to bed, and now I have what I call a mommy hangover LOL Result number two, you ask? The girls didnt get in bed until way late either, so guess who I couldnt make get out of bed this morning? Yup, you guessed it, the girls!! So they're playing hookie from school today. Dont tell, okay? LOL Since they're only in headstart, there arent a certain amount of days they're allowed to miss. When they get in kindergarten, they'll only be allowed like 8 absences or something, unless they have a doctor's excuse.

Do any of ya'll like American Idol? I never really got into it before, but this time around I have watched every audition show and I cant wait for the regular show to begin. My question is this: If you KNEW you couldnt sing, that you sounded like a grizzly bear on crack, would YOU still go up there in front of Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson? No sir, not me buddy! They are freaking HARSH!! Some of those poor people just had to know that they werent right for the show...I would think.

I watched Grey's Anatomy last Thursday night. It was very riveting! I cannot wait until this Thursday when they show the continuance. The whole show brought tears to my eyes!!!

Hmm...this is the first time I've ever blogged at 9:00 a.m! My girls each have one of those bilingual laptop computers for kids that teach them letters and numbers in english and spanish. They each set up a little end table with their computers right behind my desk LOL They wanna be just like mom :) I took a picture, and then my batteries promptly went dead! Tell me that doesnt stink!

Today we have to go to my nephew B.J's birthday party. He's 2 :) Thats one thing I've been doing while the girls are in school. I've been babysitting B.J. and his baby sister Savannah. Now they're in daycare, so I have no kids through the week...well, until mine get home from school LOL

If I can remember to buy some batteries for my camera, I'd like to post some pictures that I've taken lately. We got one good snow, but it melted away before the sun went down :( But it's still been really cold though. We've had to fill up our propane tank for gas THREE times already this winter. If it were left up to me, I would have turned the heat down or OFF quite a few times, but hubby freezes his tail off!

Well ya'll...I'm back!! I know some of you have been heartbroken (hehe!) that I havent been able to be online, right? I now have internet access at home, so I CAN be with you again! This time it will be during normal hours though. I am officially a SAHM and I'M LOVIN' IT! And, get this, I lucked up and someone GAVE me this computer. It's used, and it's not the newest in the world, but it works great!! Well, I havent been up to much lately, just some deep cleaning around my house, enjoying being home while the girls are in school, and missing my bloggy buddies!
