WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

"A picture is worth a thousand words..."
This was taken from the back door of the hotel that I work at in Hiawassee, Georgia!! This is what I get to look at every morning ya'll...who could ask for more? Enjoy.

Don't Ya'll just Love Anne Geddes??? My sister had her baby today!! Savannah Ann was born at 12:13 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs. and 2 ounces, and was 18 1/2 inches long :) She is BEAUTIFUL!!! She's got the blondest hair, and she's the smallest baby thats been born to our family so far. I am such a proud aunt! She's my first neice!! I have 2 nephews, Chad, 7 yrs. old, and B.J., 16 months old :) It still amazes me that my girls were as big as they were...aren't most twins small when they're born? Shelby was 6 lbs. and 14 ounces and Shaleena was 6 lbs. and 6 ounces. I'm gonna let ya'll in on a little secret... I think I might be *looks around to make sure no one's watching or listening* pregnant!! My husband and I have been trying for a little boy. The girls start head start in August, so I'm thinking it would be a good time, and good age difference! I do have sad news tho, my best friend Lisa has been married for 6 years, they've been trying for about 5 of those years to get pregnant. She's been on fertility drugs, he's been checked out, and they just cannot get pregnant. So...if everyone could say a little prayer for them... they would be the absolute best parents ever!! I babysat my nephew B.J. today while his mommy was in the hospital giving birth to his little sister...he is the BEST behaved baby you'll ever find. When my sister was pregnant with him, she had a lot of problems. She somehow managed to get a hole in her water sac and fluid was rapidly leaking out. She was put in the hospital on bedrest for about 1 1/2 months. He was a miracle baby. My pregnancy on the other hand...my girls were wonderfully healthy. Myself...I almost died. I had a C-Section, my uterus was so stretched out of proportion that it didnt want to go back down to it's normal size. About 15 minutes after they had sewed me up, I started to hemmorage (sp?). By that time, my doctor had already left, and the incompetent nurses at the hospital didnt know what to do. They were changing the pads under me like every 3 minutes. They didnt want to call the doctor because "If we call the doctor to come back, we have to get the whole team back in here". My grandmother told them that she didnt give a shit who they had to get in there but that if they didnt do it soon, I was going to die and THEY were going to be responsible. I ended up losing 7 units of blood (1/2 of the blood in my body) before the doctor came back. They had to re-open my incision and massage my uterus and sew it. They didnt think that was going to work...they had already made arrangements to fly me to Chatanooga, TN for an emergency hysterectomy. Well, I didnt have to do that *Thank You God* but I did have to have a blood transfusion, wich is something I hope I never have to do again. That all happened on December 28, 2002. I was home with my girls from the hospital on January 1, 2003. I Thank God every day that they were so healthy. That seems like it was just yesterday, and here I am about to have to send them to headstart...I am TERRIFIED!!! But, they are excited, and I know that they will absorb everything, they are already so smart! (*wondering if I am tooting my own horn*) At 3 1/2 they know their address, their full names, and mommy and daddy's full names, most of their shapes and colors, and we're working on ABC's. Counting is coming slow for them too...but they are starting to comprehend that! Have a good day ya'll :)

Talkin' about a funny talkin', honk-tonking Georgia Peach
Well, peaches, peaches Love them Georgia Peaches

They'll steal your heart with a Southern smile
Well they talk a little funny, but they look so fine
The older they get, I swear its like good wine
I think they're cute, think they're cute as they can be
Talkin' about a funny talkin', honk-tonking Georgia Peach
Talkin' about a funny talkin', honk-tonking Georgia Peach
I just seem to fall in love with the wrong things

My hubby just called me and when we hung up, he said "I Love You, My Georgia Peach". That made me think of that song LOL so here it is!!! Well, the lyrics to it are here anyways. :)

Today my girls were sooooo good!! That is unusual for them! They were curled up on my lap and Shelby says to me... "Mommy, are we angels?" I told her that they were mommys angels. I tell ya what, 3 year olds can come up with some doozies! Half the time I think they are more educated than I am ;) My husband gave me a sterling silver/ruby ring with matching earrings today! My birthday isn't until next week, so I must have done something right...hmmm... Ahh, my husband has been asking for a peanut butter pie...can anyone tell me a recipe thats good? I love to cook, and my SIL used to have a recipe but she cant find it. I think he's a little homesick...I moved him from his family in KY to my family and GA. Even tho we've been here almost 2 years now, it's rough on him sometimes. We can't afford to take time off to visit KY very often, so we depend on phone conversations, and sometimes that just isnt enough I guess. WooHoo...I just found out that Josh Turner is coming here for our fair!! That means he'll be staying at this hotel! When the country stars come for concerts they always stay here, we are connected to the fairgrounds wich is where our concert hall is. I'm excited!! I've only worked here for 2 1/2 months so I havent been exposed to any of the stars yet...but now that the season has started I'm likely to meet a bunch of them. I did meet Charlie Daniels...he's a nutball!!! Oh yeah, I would like to change my background...can anyone tell me how to edit it to what I want it to be instead of only using the ones that they have???? I would appreciate any advice... Have a great night Ya'll :)

GoshDarnIt!! Okay...here's how my night went! I work at a Ramada, night shift, from 11 p.m until 7 a.m. Currently we are housing some construction crews who are working on expanding one of our local churches. So this one guy...from Alabama...comes to my desk at oh...about 12 a.m and he says to me..."Are you married?" and I say, "Yessir, I sure am!" and he says to me, "Do you know any single girls around here?" and I say, "No Sir, all my friends are married." and he says back to me, "Well, do you know any call girls?" I was like OMG wtf, do I look like the friggin porno/yellow pages? LOL. Anyways, us ladies that work here get hit on all the time. I have this old man, he's probly about 60 and he's ALWAYS trying to hug me and call the desk on my shift.....What do you do when you dont want to hurt someones feelings but you want them to leave you alone??? I try to bring up my husband and my kids, I try to act busy(er), I try to avoid this guy! But he WONT GO AWAY!!!! Anyone have any suggestions? My boss told me to go ahead and tell him off...but I'm just not that type! HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP ya'll!!! On a side note...one of my girls told the other one last night right at bedtime that if she didnt go to sleep she was going to "whoop her ass" !!! I was petrified, because that is one thing we DO NOT DO! We do not use foul language around them! That is the kind of thing that they hear on TV these days! What am I gonna do? Have my cable turned off? For cryin' out loud!!!

Hi!! Happy Monday everyone!! (Ha...who am I kidding? Monday? Happy?) I had an eventful weekend!! We went camping. It rained! All weekend! Sheesh. My girls LOVED it. It was their first camping trip ever...we took them fishing, swimming, you name it and we dunnit! I just want to thank ya'll that ventured over to my blog. I am soooooooo excited that MommaK visited!! www.petroville.com is the first place I go when I get online!! And I know that I probably sound like a gushy weirdo, but all this is so new and fun for me!! Ahh... I would like to do a quote of the day for you guys.
